Chiranjeevi, a name synonymous with Indian cinema's success, requires no introduction. He boasts an illustrious career spanning Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi films. Chiranjeevi made his acting debut in the Telugu movie "Punadhirallu" in 1978.
The actor has received numerous accolades, including the prestigious Raghupathi Venkaiah Award, three Nandi Awards, and nine Filmfare Awards South, which includes a Lifetime Achievement Award. In 2006, he was honored with the Padma Bhushan. In 2022, he was recognized with the IFFI Indian Film Personality of the Year Award at the 53rd IFFI.
Born as Konidela Sivasankara Varaprasad Rao on August 22, 1955, in the village of Mogalthur in Andhra Pradesh's West Godavari region.

Vijetha (1985)

"Vijetha" is a Telugu film from 1985 directed by A. Kodandarami Reddy and produced by Allu Aravind. It features Chiranjeevi, Bhanupriya, and J. V. Somayajulu in the lead roles. The movie is a remake of the 1981 Bengali film "Saheb," which had already been adapted into Hindi as "Saaheb" in 1985, starring Anil Kapoor. Additionally, the film was dubbed in Tamil under the title "Dharma Prabhu." Chiranjeevi received his second Filmfare Best Actor Award for his exceptional performance in this film.

Gharana Mogudu (1992)

In 1992, a significant milestone in Chiranjeevi's cinematic voyage was reached with the release of "Gharana Mogudu." The film's extraordinary success not only made it the first Telugu movie to surpass the Rs. 10 crore mark at the box office but also earned the distinction of being featured at the 1993 International Film Festival of India. Indra (2002)

The 2002 B. Gopal directorial emerged as the highest-grossing Telugu film of its era. Starring Chiranjeevi, Sonali Bendre, and Aarthi Agarwal, with supporting roles played by Sivaji, Mukesh Rishi, and Prakash Raj, the film featured a remarkable musical score composed by Mani Sharma. It clinched three state Nandi Awards and two Filmfare Awards South, with Chiranjeevi earning both the Nandi Award for Best Actor and the Filmfare Award for Best Actor in the Telugu category. Shankar Dada M.B.B.S (2003)


The comedy-drama film released in 2003 was a remake of the Hindi film "Munna Bhai M.B.B.S." It starred Chiranjeevi, Sonali Bendre, Girish Karnad, and Paresh Rawal in pivotal roles. The movie was directed by Jyanth C Paranjee.
