Following the triumph of "Jailer," Rajinikanth is joining forces with director Lokesh Kanagaraj for his 171st film.Sun Pictures will produce 'Thalaivar 171,' featuring music by composer Anirudh Ravichandran and action sequences choreographed by Anbariv.
Rajinikanth is currently relishing the success of "Jailer," marking a significant comeback after two underwhelming films, "Darbar" and "Annaatthe." Directed by Nelson, the movie has become one of the year's biggest hits nationwide, offering the Superstar a much-needed triumph at the box office.
Before collaborating with Lokesh, Rajinikanth is set to team up with director TJ Gnanavel of "Jai Bhim" fame for a project tentatively titled "Thalaivar 170," backed by Lyca Productions.
Meanwhile, Lokesh Kanagaraj is eagerly awaiting the release of his action-packed film "Leo" in October, featuring Vijay, Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, and others. Speculation suggests that "Leo" might be part of the same cinematic universe as Lokesh's previous works, "Kaithi" and "Vikram." This project marks the second collaboration between Lokesh and Vijay following their successful pairing in "Master."
