A significant clash at the box office is on the horizon as Prabhas' eagerly anticipated action-packed thriller 'Salaar' is scheduled to release on the same date as Vivek Agnihotri's movie 'The Vaccine War'. Both of these highly awaited films are slated to hit the screens on September 28.
Vivek Agnihotri unveiled the teaser for 'The Vaccine War,' featuring an intriguing musical score and scenes of scientists engrossed in their lab work. Within the teaser, a lab technician was depicted carrying a lab rat, while another was preparing a vaccine by loading a syringe. Billed as India's pioneering bioscience film, the movie draws inspiration from a factual account.
In reference to 'The Vaccine War,' the film is poised to narrate the tale of how Indian scientists unraveled the discovery of the Covid-19 vaccine. The movie boasts a cast including Nana Patekar, Pallavi Joshi, and Anupam Kher. Positioned as India's inaugural bio-science film, it signifies a significant stride in cinematic storytelling.
Earlier Vivek Agnihotri has subtly
criticized Prabhas for portraying Lord Ram in Om Raut's film
"Adipurush." The movie faced significant criticism for allegedly
distorting the Hindu epic, Ramayan. Upon its release in June,
"Adipurush" became entangled in various controversies.
Now, as Vivek Agnihotri and Prabhas find themselves heading for another
cinematic clash, it remains to be seen who will come out victorious in
this intriguing battle at the box office.
